M
any organisations in the conservation sector rely on gifts and support for their good work. During the periods we work for these organisations we setup systems to ensure more structural income by means of volunteers, tourism and partnerships.

To be able to do this we invest in the organisations by working for a low salary, using our connections to bring in more expertise or use our own funds. If you want to contribute, you can do this by directly financially supporting us or ring-fence your money and have us use it to buy materials for that specific organisation locally. Or any other way you want us to contribute. You can choose the exact destination and we’ll make sure it gets there!
This means there is no overhead and we will give you feedback on how your contribution is used.
For the baboon and vervet release in 2013 and 2014 for the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre in Malawi we used funds to buy proper binoculars to be able to observe the animals better and gear for the field team and rangers.
In Chimp Eden for example we used donated money to improve floors in the chimpanzee enclosures and improved enrichment. A third option would be to offer your voluntary services. How this looks depends on your experience and skills.
Feel free to contact us with questions regarding any of these options.
