Sanctuary

Tacugama, established in 1995, currently cares for about 75 chimpanzees. Main focus of the sanctuary is protection and logo tacugamaconservation of chimpanzees through education, community sensitization, research and legal enforcement. The sanctuary is highly spoken of in our field and we are proud to be part of the team.

Program managers

As program managers we are responsible for driving the sustainability of the sanctuary’s work. Effectively this means daily management of the sanctuary with all occurring aspects and identifying funding opportunities but also work on the volunteer program and liaise with (inter)national actors.
